摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To perform an accurate detection of coordinates, by adding compensating electrode lines to compensate the variance of floating capacities of parallel electrode lines in X and Y directions which are provided in response to the coordinate position to be detected. CONSTITUTION:Parallel electrode lines X1-Xn and Y1-Ym are provided to a detecting panel PN and in X and Y directions, and a contact part of a touch electrode is formed at each intersection of these electrode lines. Compensating electrodes XC and YC are provided at the outside of electrodes X1 and Xn as well as Y1 and Ym and then earthed. The floating capacity CX between electrode lines Xi is set equal to the floating capacity CXa between electrodes XC and X1/Xn. Thus the capacity between each touch electrode of the X side and another electrode is set at 2CX+mCO+CCX, where CCX is the capacity between electrode YC and line Xi and CO is the capacity between electrode lines Xi and Yi. As a result, the variance of capacity is compensated. Each touch electrode of the X side is also compensated in the same way. Therefore an even level is generated in a touch detector X Y-TCHS which is connected to a touched electrode line.</p>
