PURPOSE:To limit an influence due to correction of tension in a belt conveyer and improve its stable running property, by constituting a long distance belt conveyer such that an auxiliary braking belt to a descending part while an auxiliary driving belt to an ascending part are closely attachably arranged below a main belt on the half way of the belt conveyer to locally adjust tension of the main belt. CONSTITUTION:A generator 9 is connected to a brake side pulley 8 of a descending part auxiliary belt 7. If electric power generated by the generator 9 is consumed to apply a braking force, a tension is applied to a main belt conveyer 1. On the other hand, an electric motor 6 is connected to a driving pulley 10 of an ascending part auxiliary belt 5 to drive the pulley 10 with the fixed torque through a control circuit 14 and decrease the tension of the main belt 1. Here the generated power of the generator 9 drives the motor 6. By this constitution, the influence due to adjustment of the tension is prevented, while the necessity of external electric power for driving the auxiliary belt can be eliminated. |
