摘要 <p>Regenerating a coke-contaminated catalyst comprises (a) introducing the catalyst together with O2-contg. gas and hot and cool recycled regenerated catalyst (from a later stage) into the lower part of a dilute phase combustion zone and oxidising the coke; (b) sepg. hot regenerated catalyst from combustion flue gas at the top part of the zone; and (c) recycling catalyst in two portions to the combustion zone, one portion passing through a cooling zone. - The proportion of regenerated recycled catalyst to be cooled can be varied to control the regeneration temp. The process is suitable for FCC processes in which relatively high coke deposition occurs. EPAB- EP-101765 B A process for regenerating a coke-contaminated solid fluidizable catalyst, comprising (a) introducing the coke-contaminated catalyst, recycled regenerated catalyst and an oxygen-containing regeneration gas into a lower locus of a combustion zone maintained at a temperature sufficient for coke oxidation and therein oxidizing coke to produce hot regenerated catalyst and hot fluie flue gas; (b) transporting the hot flue gas and the hot regenerated catalyst from an upper locus of the combustion zone into a regenerated catalyst disengaqing zone, wherein the hot regenerated catalyst is separated from the flue gas; and (c) recycling regenerated catalyst from the disengaging zone to the combustion zone; characterised in that the combustion zone is maintained as a dilute phase combustion zone and is fed with both relatively cool recycled regenerated catalyst and relatively hot recycled regenerated catalyst, a first portion of the hot regenerated catalyst being transported from the disengaging zone to a cooling zone separate from the disenqaging zone, wherein heat is withdrawn from the hot regenerated catalyst to produce cool regenerated catalyst, and cool regenerated catalyst being withdrawn from the cooling zone and transported into the combustion zone to serve as the relatively cool recyled regenerated catalyst, the amount of cool regenerated catalyst transported into the combustion zone being controlled in response to the temperature sensed at an upper focus of the combustion zone, and a second portion of the hot regenerated catalyst being transported from the disengaging zone into the combustion zone without passing through the cooling zone to serve as the relatively hot recycled regenerated catalyst.
