<p>PURPOSE:To produce a color filter by only one resist coating stage, by coating a positive type resist, exposing with prescribed mask, developing, and dying and fixing obtained filter regions. CONSTITUTION:The shading film 2 composed of a lattice shape metal is mounted on the glass substrate 1. A dyeing base material 3 (mixed chemicals of gelatin and ammonium bichromate) is coated on the shading film, dried and exposed to form the filter films 4R-4B. The positive type resist 5 is coated on the obtd. filter films, and is exposed only the film 4R using the prescribed patterned mask 6, developed, and disclosed. After coloring the film 4R to a red color, the surface of the film is effected the fixing treatment to prevent the penetration of another color dyestuff. Next, similar treatment is effected by shifting mask 6 by a pitch to obtain the colored filter films 4G and 4B. The whole surface of the obtd. colored filter films is covered with a protective film 7 composed of a high polymer material. The coating stage of the resist at each colors are omitted, thereby reducing production stages.</p> |
