PURPOSE:To obtain a printing paper feeder capable of automatically varying the intervals of tractor by command from outside by using a system in which the intervals of tractor are altered by giving rotation command signals of a given pulse number to left and right-handed tractor motors. CONSTITUTION:To alter the interval of left and right-handed tractors 1 and 2, a paper width switching signal 101 is put into a control portion 20 from outside. In the control portion 20, the interval of the tractors in the upper paper feeder and the positions of the tractors to be set up subsequently are calculated on paper width signals 106 and 107 to let the interval of the tractors know from lower printing paper feeders 21 and 22, alreadly input, and also on a paper width signal 108 to let the interval of the present tractor know for the upper paper feeder 23, and rotation command signals 102-105 are sent out to right and left- handed tractor motors 3 and 4 respectively. |
