PURPOSE:To obtain an ink jet recorder capable of removing satellitic ink droplets in spite of varied properties of ink by using a system in which satelite ink droplets are separated and arrested by an air blower set on the side of the flying path of ink droplets. CONSTITUTION:As soon as ink droplets 3 are jetted by operating an ink jet head 1, an air blower is operated on send out the wind toward the flying path of ink droplets. Since the diameter of satellitic ink droplets 9 is 1/3 or less of the diameter of the ink droplets 3, the satellitic ink droplets are greatly deflected in its flying direction by receiving air from the air blower 10, greatly dislocated from the flying path of the ink droplets 3, and arrested by a collector 11. |
