AGENT FOR IMPROVING LOW TEMPERATURE FLUIDITY OF FUEL OIL

An agent for improving low temperature fluidity of fuel oil, which comprises: (A) an adduct between a reaction product of an alpha -olefin containing on the average 10 to 30 carbon atomes with maleic anhydride having a weight-average polymerization degree of 1 to 100 and an aliphatic alcohol having on the average 6 to 28 carbon atoms, with the sum of the average number of carbon atoms contained in the longest chain alkyl group of the alpha -olefin and the average number of carbon atoms contained in the longest carbon chain of the aliphatic alcohol being 22 to 40, and/or the salt of the adduct; and (B) low molecular weight polyethylene having a number-average molecular weight of 500 to 20000 and/or a reaction product of the polyethylene with maleic anhydride.
