The invention relates to a machine for the treatment, e.g. grinding, polishing, deburring, cleaning, preserving or the like, of workpieces with a treatment container which can be set in vibration. This container can be designed in particular in the shape of a round trough and can have a device for raising the workpieces and the treatment agents from a lower treatment level into a separating level which is located above the treatment level and in which at least two screens for the segregation of treatment bodies or their parts are arranged one behind the other, and catch boxes for the treatment bodies and agents segregated by the screens are arranged below one or more of these screens. So that workpieces of different size or workpieces which are smaller or larger than the treatment agents can alternatively be treated in this machine, the screens or base plates arranged in front of or behind these screens are arranged in the treatment container in such a way that they can be exchanged for other screens or base plates, in which arrangement the catch box or catch boxes below the screens or base plates are also fastened in such a way that they can be inserted into or removed from the container. <IMAGE>
