In addition to the stages of die cutting of the upper, of the sole and of the insole in those materials which are suitable for each one, and the fitting of a top band on the upper, the process comprises the following stages: a) edge-to-edge and flat assembly of the rear edges of the upper, with simultaneous fitting of an outer backstrap and, if appropriate, of an inner backstrap; b) assembly of the upper on the insole by means of joining using chain stitch; c) after slipping the product obtained after stage b) on a heating last, gluing of the bottom of the product slipped over this last; d) gluing of the sole; e) pressing of the sole thus glued onto the product slipped over the heating last; f) the article of foot-wear obtained after stage e) is removed.
