PURPOSE:To prevent effectively the deviation of transfer generated on a transfer paper, by stopping the wave of the transfer paper, which extends from the pressure-fixation positon side to a transfer position near a photoreceptor, on the upper stream side of the transfer paper advance direction by a guide member. CONSTITUTION:A transfer paper P passes between a photoreceptor 1 and a transfer electrode 3 and is sent to a pair of pressure-fixing rolls 2, which are pressed to each other, through carrying paths 7 and 8, and in this case, the transfer paper is inserted between a pair of rolls 2 from one corner part of the leading edge for the purpose of improving functions of a pair of rolls 2. A guide member 32 is provided on top part of the side wall face of a case 31 of the transfer electrode 3 in the transfer paper advance direction to make a gap T between the transfer electrode 3 and the surface of the photoreceptor narrow as much as possible. Then, even if the wave generated on the transfer paper P advancing to the fixation position is turned back in the direction of the transfer position, the wave is suppressed in the part of the gap T to hold forcibly the transfer paper in the plane state, and thus, the deviation of transfer is prevented. |
