The invention relates to furniture having a plurality of cushions of identical width, which can optionally be placed adjacently as a bed or placed together as seating furniture, and whose overall length is equal to the length of the bed. The lower cushion part is connected at its front, upper edge by a hinge to the seat cushion which rests congruently on it and on which a back cushion is arranged whose resting area differs from the upper area of the seat cushion by the area of the seat depth of the furniture. At the sides, the furniture has two side parts which project above the height of the seat cushion and on which there is arranged at the rear and at the top a back part which is pivotable about a pivot axis and can be fixed in the pivoted-up position.
