PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of transmission and to decrease the quantity of detecting hardware, by sharing between a channel for measurement of bit errors and a channel for discharge of control information. CONSTITUTION:The transmitting signal burst of a TDMA communication system consists of channels of a fixed pattern for operation of receiver, a burst detecting fixed pattern 4, the control information 8 which is capable of simultaneous measurement of bit errors and the difference of the communication traffic data 7, respectively. The information 8 is produced from a pseudo random pattern generator consisting of FF10a-10d to which input data 9a-9d are applied and an exclusive OR12. At the receiving side, the output said pattern generator is compared with the received control information. Thus the bit errors in a bit pattern are counted, and the bit error factor is measured. |
