PURPOSE:To make it possible to implement the compact and thin device and the saving of power consumption and to make it possible to perform clear image displaying, by overlapping a mark film, which is moved in correspondence with the running, and a microfilm, in which map is recorded, and projecting both films on a projection screen. CONSTITUTION:A bearing theta between a reference azimuth and a direction from (a) to (b) is obtained by the analysis of azimuth data based on the output of a direction sensor. The outputs of the direction sensor and a speed sensor are analyzed by a microprocessor, and a moving amount K.DELTAlsin theta in the direction X and a moving amount K.DELTAlcos theta in the direction Y in a film frame 9 are computed. Then the movement of the film frame 9 is controlled. K is coefficient. By moving the film frame 9 in the directions X and Y, a running position mark 8 on a mark film 7 is moved in correspondence with the running of a vehicle. A mark image 15, which is projected on the projection screen 14 is moved along the road in a map image 16 projected on the projection screen 14 in correspondence with the running of the vehicle. Thus the present running position of the vehicle is displayed. |
