PURPOSE:To prevent the trouble of unmatured return, by extending the inner part of a pinion and disposing a locking means at the lower part of a clutch outer. CONSTITUTION:A pinion 1 consists of a ring-shaped groove 1a opened in the outer circumferential direction, radial holes 1b opened from the groove 1a toward the center, a clutch inner 1c and a pair of bushes 1d press fitted into a bore of the pinion. The pinion 1 is slided on a motor shaft 4 for engagement with and disengagement from a ring gear 11. The ring-shaped groove 1a is formed at an extension of the clutch inner 1c and has therein balls 2 and a plate spring 3. A locking and unlocking means for the pinion 1 is so set that the plate spring 3 is forced outward by the centrifugal force of the inertia of the balls 2 and weights 3a when the pinion 1 is turned by the ring gear 11 at a speed at which complete explosion of an engine is caused, the balls 2 come out of the groove 4a, and the entire body of a clutch is returned. |
