Reversing Mechanism for Curtain Type Route Indicator A helical driver gear is rotatable on a shaft driven by a reversable electric motor. The gear has a pair of helical gear followers attached to an arm freely rotatable on the driver gear shaft and adjacent the driver gear and in eccentric mounting therewith thereby to effect alternative engagement with either of two other helical gears, each mounted on the end of spaced apart curtain roll shafts which are parallel and equidistant from the drive shaft, instantaneously with change of torque of the driver shaft. The route indicator curtain can be controlled electrically and driven at high speeds without damage as each roll becomes a driver at the same instant the other becomes a free follower.
