PURPOSE:To relieve labor in operation, by a method wherein a cutter for cutting off the end part of a continuous form paper, a cutter for cutting the paper into sheets a stacker and a paper sorter are provided on the downstream side of a tractor, in a printer for information processing system. CONSTITUTION:A continuous form paper 19 printed thereon by an impact-type printing head 1 is fed by the tractor 3, the end part thereof is cut off by the cutter 4 rotated on the downstream side of the tractor 3, and is then cut into sheets by the cutter 6 which is intermittently driven. The cut sheets of paper are tentatively stacked at the stacker 7. The stacked sheets 20 of paper are fed to a paper sorter 13 while being separated one at a time by a pick roller 8 and a separating pawl 9, and the sheets sorted by the sorter 13 are fed into trays 14- 18. Accordingly, it is unnecessitated to provide any special cutter or any special sorter, it is also unnecessitated to set the paper into such special devices, and labor in operation can be relieved. |
