The invention relates to a method for cutting out circular blanks from essentially square sheets of kraft paper 16 or the like which are arranged in a stack on a pallet or other similar plate-shaped bearing member, so that the sheets 16 form a square block, the height of which is at least equal to the side lengths of the sheets. This stack, supported by the said bearing member 20 and by means of a substantially horizontal displacement, is placed on a disc 7 rotating horizontally in the plane of the floor. The stack of quadratic sheets 169, which are provided with cut-outs 19 intended to facilitate the removal of cut-out material, and the said bearing member 20 is pressed together between the said rotating disc 7 and a freely rotating horizontal pressure plate 14 which rotates about a rotational axis constituted by a line which is common to the rotational axis of the said rotating disc 7. The circular blanks are cut out by means of a cutter 3 which is guided vertically downwards from the uppermost sheet and down to the said bearing member 20. Cut-out sheet material is removed by means of rotating members which follow the said cutter 3. <IMAGE> |
