<p>The aerial has a feed station and a capacity between a half- and the entire operating wavelength. The aerial ring consists of an uneven number of partial members of identical length. A capacitor, or a series-connection of two capacitors, is incorporated at the separation points. The aerial feed takes place between two such series-connected capacitors. Pref., the aerial ring is hexagonal and is formed by three partial members of metal tube. Each separating capacitor is formed by the capacity between a metal rod, protruding into one tubular piece and the tube proper. The fastening takes place via three tubes extending radially towards the ring centre. The feed table is laid through one such fastening tube. In the centre of the aerial ring two transistor amplifiers may be mounted for the AM and FM waveband. A vertical rod with end sphere is centrally mounted as an AM aerial.</p> |
