PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a hot well for condenser, and to obtain a highly quake-proof condenser, by installing a condensate radioactivity attenuator to the under side of a base plate in a condenser for BWR atomic power generation. CONSTITUTION:Reinforced tubes 5 are provided to the under side of tube nests 1, and a flow path 2 is solidly provided to the under side of a base plate 7, encircled by a foundation block 9. The condensate condensed by the tube nests 1 flows into the flow path 2 from the openings 10 which are provided to the base plate 7, and runs off from condensate outlets 4, after radioactivity attenuation is taken place. As the inside of the flow path 2 is divided into sections by partition plates 3, large capacity can be obtained in the flow path. |
