Solid antibiotic composition

Solid antibiotic compositions which contain 7 beta -[2-(2-imino- 4-thiazolin-4-yl)-acetamido]-3-{1-[2-(N,N-dimethylamino)-ethyl]-1H-tet razol-5-yl}-thiomethyl-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid dihydrochloride or its hydrate and a pharmaceutically acceptable carboxylic acid salt are prepared by mixing the two components in a ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 equivalents. These solid compositions are advantageously presented in vials having an internal pressure of 0 to 39900 Pa (0 to 300 mm Hg). They can be converted by addition of a solvent into injectable solutions whose administration causes a high antibacterial action with fewer local reactions.
