PURPOSE:To improve the characteristics of transmission, by having the offset transmission diversity for a descending circuit from a base station to a mobile station and then the time diversity of the same frequency band width as the descending circuit of an ascending circuit from a mobile station to a base station respectively. CONSTITUTION:A base station gives FM modulations 4 and 5 to the transmission data supplied from a terminal 3 together with the carrier signals which are generated from carrier generators 6 and 7 and have a fixed relation of frequencies with each other and transmits them through antennas 12 and 13 in an offset transmission diversity system via branching filters 10 and 11 after power amplifications 8 and 9. At the same time, the electric waves received through the antennas 12 and 13 receive the 2-branch reception diversity from a diversity receiver 14, and a demodulation output data is applied to a decoder 15. The decoder 14 decodes the time diversity and then transmits a decoding data to a terminal 16. While a mobile station 2 branches 21 the electric wave received through an antenna 20 to receive 22 it and at the same time transmits the transmission data given through a terminal 24 after the time diversity coding 25 and FM modulation. |
