<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a stable paper-feeding function constantly by arranging a roller jointed with a paper-feeding roller to be smoothly rotated at an opposite position to the paper-feeding roller on a sheet guide to feed sheets manually inserted. CONSTITUTION:Usually, sheets 2 accumulated on an accumulation board 5 in a cassette 1 are fed via a paper-feeding roller 7 and register rollers 12. When small-sized paper sheets 16 are fed, a manual insertion guide lid 13 is set on the cassette 1. At this stage, a sheet guide 14 of the guide lid 13 is provided with a roller 18 at an opposite position to a rubber member 10 of the paper-feeding member 7 for setting. This construction permits to joint the rubber member 10 positioned outside the paper width of sheets 16 with the roller 18 for smooth rolling, and prevent the rubber member 10 from partial abrasion.</p> |
