PURPOSE:To obtain good-quality printings by a method in which a elastic part is provided between a printing element with a heating element and a receiving base to support the element, and a guide roller to push an ink ribbon is provided to the receiving base. CONSTITUTION:A printing element 1 with a heating element is rotatably supported on a receiving base 20 by means of a pin 55, and a compressive spring 53 is provided betwen the printing element 1 and the receiving base 20 to give a spring force to the lower part of the printing element 1. Furthermore, a guide roller 54 for pushing a meltable ink ribbon 11 and a recording paper 12 to a platen 13 is rotatably supported on the receiving base 20. When a solenoid 34 is operated and the receiving base 20 is inclined toward the platen 13 side at a round shaft 31 as the center, the printing element 1 is contacted with the ink ribbon 11 and the paper 12 with a proper pushing force by means of the action of a compressive spring 53. The printing element 1 may be attached through a supporting plate 5 to the receiving base 20. |
