The apparatus comprises: a beacon handler (405) to receive a communication from a client device, the communication including an identifier of media accessed at the client device and a panelist identifier, the panelist identifier transmitted in a user agent field of the communication; a user agent parser (410) to parse the communication for the panelist identifier; and an impression logger (412) to associate the media with the panelist identifier in a first log entry.
