PURPOSE:To prevent the change in optical performance owing to a change in temp. and to enable working with high accuracy by fixing a lens barrel which is manufactued of a material having a coefft. of linear expansion approximate to the coefft. of linear expansion of a lens to the lens by means of an adhesive agent then working the lens barrel on the basis of the lens. CONSTITUTION:A lens barrel 2 manufactured of a material having a coefft. of linear expansion approximate to the coefft. of linear expansion of a lens 1 is fixed thoroughly to the lens 1 by means of an adhesive agent, whereafter the lens 1 is centered with a bell clamp holder 4. The outside diameter 2a and butt surfaces 2b, 2c of the lens barrel 2 are machined with a working tool 5. The other lens 11 and lens barrel 12 manufactured in the same way are superposed so as not to be off-center from each other, whereby the entire part of the desired lens barrel is completed. Thus, the generation of the strain in the lens owing to a difference in the coefft. of linear expansion is obviated, the eccentricity between the lens and the lens barrel owing to fit tolerances is eliminated, and the working is with optical performance and high accuracy is accomplished. |
