PURPOSE:To mitigate congestion of office work at shop closing, by providing two sets of file for a host CPU to each POS, storing information to the 1st file until the POS accounting request and storing the information after that to the 2nd file and taking it as the data for the next day. CONSTITUTION:The host CPU2 has two sets of file 22, 23 to POS terminal devices 5A, 5B.... The name of good, monetary amount and department of the sale of a shop are memorized 16 at a keyboard 7. A control section 6 integrates a serial number by one each at each transaction and gives it to a data inputted to the memory 16. The data stored in the memory 16 is read out at a telegraphic message forming and interpreting means 13 via a buffer memory 15, transmitted 12 and stored in the day file 22 of the host CPU2. In designating 8 the accounting on the way before a shop closing, the day file 22 is closed, the data after that is logged in the file 23 and returned to the POS together with the serial number after the previous closing at the shop opening at the next day. Thus, the congestion of office works at shop closing is mitigated. |
