PURPOSE:To surely reduce vibration of an engine while always maintaining good combustion, by interlocking to adjust an opening of an intake throttle valve at low speed and low loaded time of the engine to its exhaust pressure and setting intake negative pressure to an optimum state in accordance with a load and speed. CONSTITUTION:An intake throttle valve 2 is rotatably provided through a valve shaft 15 to the inside of a throttle chamber 12 on the half way of an intake passage 1. This valve 2 is connected to a diaphragm device 17 through a lever 16 fixed to an end part of the shaft 15. Here the device 17 is constituted by a rod 18 engaged to the lever 16, diaphragm 19 rotating the lever 16 through the rod 18, and a return spring 20 lifting the diaphragm 19 to urge the valve 2 in the closing direction. Then a spring constant and initial load or the like of the spring 20 are set in such a manner that the valve 2 is placed in a fully opened condition at prescribed exhaust pressure or more further proportionally opened and closed in accordance with exhaust pressure at the prescribed exhaust pressure or less. |
