PURPOSE:To reduce size and to improve accuracy by forming detecting parts into a unit, disconnecting the unit from the Roberval's parallel motion mechanism of a scale, and connecting the unit to said mechanism by means of an engaging pin which projects from the detecting unit. CONSTITUTION:A Roberval's parallel motion mechanism A is constituted of a level frame 104, an extension frame 112, a stay 106, and a pan receiving frame 109. A scale pan 110 to be placed thereon with an object 111 to be measured is provided at the top end of the frame 109. The preceding end of the lift bar 115 fixed to the frame 112 is extended up to the centerline 116 of the mechanism A and is brought into contact with a detecting unit 119 by means of an engaging pin 118. |
