PURPOSE:To sort an article on a feed conveyer without causing the collision of the article with each other, by fetching sorting information of the article from a memory unit responsively to article detection of an article detector and operating a diverter corresponding to said information. CONSTITUTION:An unloaded article is accumulated in accumulative conveyers 10 and fed into a feed conveyer 3. At each unloading to telescopic conveyers 13 firstly from trucks 9, the sorting information is typed by a keyboard 12 and input to a memory unit 14. A feed order is determined by a priority determining device 17 with a predetermined program on the basis of a generation order of a full signal from full detectors 11 provided to the conveyers 10, position of the conveyers 10 for the conveyer 3, etc., if a priority signal is generated, a sorting information group stored in a primary memory 141 is stored in a secondary memory 142 in a priority signal order to operate diverters 2 corresponding to the information. |
