PURPOSE:To make a cop transferrable without any damage to the yarn layer surface, by making a tray passing route between a cop pick-finding device and a winding unit almost level, while achieving the transfer and winding of the cop in a state of being set up endwise on a tray top. CONSTITUTION:A cop 4 spun and wound by a fine spinning frame 3 is set up endwise on a tray 27, mounted on a cop conveyor 8, and fed to a pick-finding device 5 by motion of the conveyor 8 whereby a yarn end is swallowed up in the upper part of a bobbin and pick-finding is achieved. When the pick-finding is over, the cop is discharged to a cop conveyor 9 and fed to each of winding units 2a-2n but when this cop reaches the first unit 2a, it goes to a winding position 73 on a rotary disk 70 by way of a cop intake port 71 and a cop standby groove 72, and hereat bobbin winding onto a package is carried out. When the standby groove 72 of the first unit becomes full enough, the cop is fed to the unit 2b... and so forth in regular succession so that an empty bobbin 15 is forced to go back over its way together with the tray 27 by a transfer conveyor 10. If so, a yarn layer surface of the cop will no longer be damaged when it comes in contact with any other one on its way to conveyance. |
