PURPOSE:To provide the titled heat sensitive recording material with high sensitivity excellent in preservability and capable of forming a high intensity color, constituted by providing a photosensitive heat sensitive layer consisting of diazonium salt and a fine particulate dispersion of a hydrophobic coupler compound and a hydrophobic basic substance on a support. CONSTITUTION:For example, after a coating liquid consisting of diazonium salt (e.g., 1-diazo-2,5-diethoxy-4-morpholino-benzene, borofluoride) and an acid compound (e.g., oxalic acid) for preventing pre-coupling is applied onto a support, a coating liquid consisting of a fine particulate dispersion of a hydrophobic coupler compound with a m.p. of 80-170 deg.C, a fine particulte dispersion of hydrophobic basic substance (e.g., 1,3-dichlorohexyl-2-phenyl-guanidine) as a developer and a natural or a synthetic high molecular compound as a binder is applied to the resulting coating layer to obtain an objective recording material. |
