In a treatment of extracted soya flakes (1) by desolventisation/toasting (2), drying (7) and cooling (10), it is proposed to use superheated vapours (15, 3) resulting from the drying (7), essentially steam having a residual hexane fraction, for the desolventisation/toasting (2). The drying (7) is carried out in a bed (8) fluidized using steam (9), and the cooling (10) of the dried material is carried out in a bed (12) fluidized using air (14). The bed (8) in the dryer (7) is advantageously fluidized using its own vapours reformed in the dryer, which vapours are circulated (15, 16, 26, 9). The excess vapours (3), relative to the requirement for fluidization, are used for the desolventisation/toasting. The bed (8) in the dryer (7) in this case is heated using the heat exchangers (17) installed in the bed. <IMAGE> |
