A device for removing dust from gas, which device has a wall-shaped arrangement of cyclone chambers for centrifugal force separation of pure gas, is arranged in such a manner that the cyclone chamber wall directly forms a delimiting wall, for example the ceiling, of a dust-producing work station or production station and the removal by suction of the dust-laden air is effected directly, without intermediate transport, into the cyclone chamber entry slot distributed over the wall area. The cyclone chamber wall can form the first stage of the dust removal device, and further stages, likewise formed as wall-shapes, can be arranged in direct connection, but displaced in the exit direction of the gas.
