PURPOSE:To make both side copies at high speed, by forming original images independently with first and second image forming devices, and recording them selectively on both sides or one side of a copying sheet supplied. CONSTITUTION:An original 1 is placed on a glass plate 2, a reflective mirror 8 is set at the position 8', an image of the front side of the original 1 is projected onto a screen drum 21, an latent image is transferred to a transfer drum 30, developed with a developing device 31, and transferred onto a copying sheet fed from a cassette 50. Then, the original 1 is reversed inside out with a reversing mechanism, and placed on the glass plate 2 with the reverse side down. The mirror 8 is turned to the light path of the position 8, and the image of the reverse side of the original is transferred onto the reverse side of the copying sheet reversed and returned, through a screen drum 9, an insulating drum 14, a developing device 15, etc., and the sheet is conveyed in the direction of the arrow 47. |
