PURPOSE:To reduce the crosstalk and the 3rd distortion appearing in a reproduced picture, by reproducing a magnetic tape where a luminace signal applied with FM- modulation and a low-band conversion chrominance signal are recorded, and adding signals before and after the delay in two horizontal periods of an FM demodulation output. CONSTITUTION:Luminance signal components of the video signal of an input terminal 1 are subjected to FM modulation by a FM modulator 3, and its color signal components are set to an odd-fold horizontal scanning frequency by a color signal recording circuit 19, and is fed as the low band conversion chrominance signal to a mixer 4. The output is recorded on the magnetic tape through a switch 6 by video heads 7 and 8. The switch 6 is controlled by the output of a head 9 which detects the rotating phase of a drum. Reproduced outputs of heads 7 and 8 are made into a continuous signal by a switch, 14, and are demodulated to the luminance signal by an FM demodulator 15. The luminance signal is fed to a comb line filter 16, and signals before and after the delay in two horizontal scanning periods are added and are mixed with the output of a color signal reproducing circuit 20 by a mixer 17, and the output of the mixer 17 is outputted as a composite video signal to an output terminal. Thus, the interference due to the crosstalk and the 3rd distortion is reduced. |
