PURPOSE:To contrive an increase of an output of an alternate current generator by improving transmission efficiency, by pressing an external circumferential circumferential surface of a tension pulley sustained rotatably by a housing of the generator against an external surface of a transmission belt in the vicinity of a stretching around part of the belt on a driven pulley. CONSTITUTION:An endless transmission belt 9 is stretched around a driving pulley 4 to be secured on a crankshaft 3 of an engine body 1, and between driven pulleys 7 and 8 to be secured on a rotary shaft 5 of an alternate current generator (A) and a rotary shaft 6 of a water pump 2. An external circumferential surface of a tension pulley 20 is pressed against an external surface of the transmission belt 9 in the vicinity of a stretching around part of the belt on a driven pulley 7 so as to increase a stretching around length of the transmission belt to the driven pulley 7. Then, transmission efficiency can be improved and an increase of an output can be contrived by rotating the generator (A) at high speed. |
