<p>PURPOSE:The titled vehicle containing a part of an alcohol of a phenolic resin modified with rosin which is a higher polyoxy compound having a specific number of alcoholic hydroxyl groups, etc., having a high ground staining temperature, high gloss and tack without causing troubles, e.g. the picking of paper. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle containing 5wt% or more, based on the alcoholic component of a phenolic resin modified with rosin obtained by incorporating (A) rosin with (B) a lower polyhydric alcohol and (C) 40-150pts.wt. based on 100pts. wt. rosin, phenolic resin, higher polyoxy compound having about 6-18 total number of carbon atoms and oxygen atoms bonded thereto through ether linkages in one molecule and 2-3 alcoholic hydroxyl groups including a higher polyhydric alcohol, e.g. 1,6-hexanediol and/or a higher polyoxy ether, e.g. triethylene glycol.</p> |
