PURPOSE:To prevent the change in the width of gaps and the deviation in the position of tracks and to stabilize characteristics by butting one block to the other block while brazing members are left in a part of grooves for winding windows and heating the blocks to melt the brazing members. CONSTITUTION:Brazing members 3 are beforehand packed in a groove 1a for a winding window and a groove 1b for brazing, and joint surfaces (c) are worked to mirror surfaces. The members 3 in the groove 1a are removed by rotary grinding or the like except the necessary parts thereof. The block is butted in this state to the other block 2, and the blocks are heated in air or a vacuum to melt the members 3, thereby joining the right and left blocks 1, 2 integrally. The joined block is sliced at a broken line A to obtain magnetic head cores 4. Since the blocks are joined to each other at the two places, the head cores have high mechanical strength and are free from the change in the width of gaps and the deviation in the position of tracks. |
