PURPOSE:To provide a stable combustion device for producing a less volume of nitrogen oxide, in particular nitrogen dioxide by a method wherein a secondary flame port is arranged over a primary combustion chamber covering a primary flame port and heat exchanging fin comprised of a plurality of irregular surfaces is arranged at a side surface of the primary combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:Both primary air and fuel injected from a primary air supplying port 15 and a fuel nozzle 16 are mixed within a premixing chamber 14, supplied to a primary flame port 11 to form a primary combustion flame 19. Non-ignited constituent remained in the primary combustion chamber 13 without being completely ignited therein is supplied with secondary air at a secondary flame port 17 so as to or a secondary combustion flame 20. At this time, since the secondary air passes near the heat exchanger fins 18 and supplied, its temperature shows a quite high value and at the same time a temperature of atmosphere within the primary combustion chamber 13 and a temperature of the primary flame 19 are excessively decreased. With this arrangement, an amount of NOx generated by the primary combustion is excessively decreased. |
