PURPOSE:To detect the pulse destuffing errors quantitatively and continuously, by supplying a stuffing pulse to an up-input or a down-input of an up-down counter and a destuffing pulse to the other input respectively. CONSTITUTION:A stuffing pulse is supplied as an up-input IN1 of up-down counters 1 and 2 with a destuffing pulse supplied as a down input IN2 respectively. The count results of the counters 1 and 2 are converted into analog signals by a D/A converting circuit. For the count value of output binary codes of the counters 1 and 2, both count-up and count-down are repeated when the count value is normal. If an error arises, the count-up or count-down is carried out by frequencies equivalent to the number of errors. Thus the output of the D/A converting circuit is connected to a recorder like a pen recorder, etc. to be monitored. |
