PURPOSE:To eliminate completely the disorder of a reproduced picture which is produced in a conversion/reproduction mode, by switching the output of a multi- channel head by a switch circuit, then discriminating at least one of video signals which are recorded by a multi-channel head through a discriminating circuit. CONSTITUTION:Discriminating circuits 14 and 15 discriminate at least one of video signals which are recorded by multi-channel heads H1-H4. A switch circuit 10 switches the outputs of heads H1-H4 with the outputs of the circuits 14 and 15. It is possible to supply a correpsonding output of reproduction to the reproducing system correpsonding to each channel by controlling the circuit 10 beased on detection output DC and DD of discriminated pulses. As a result, it is possible to eliminate completely the disturbance of a reproduced picture which is produced in a conversion/reproduction mode by means of a VTR which performs the multi-channel and multi-track recording. |
