PURPOSE:To improve an accelerating property in medium and low speed areas while suppressing the maximum speed of a vehicle, by limiting the maximum rotating speed of an engine, when a transmission is shifted to a high-speed running position. CONSTITUTION:When a vehicle runs by use of a low-speed gear, a switch 24 is closed, and a transistor TR 23 is in a conductive state, therefore, an SCR 9 is cut off, and a feeding circuit 4 is held in an operating state. When a transmission is operated to a high-speed position, the switch 24 is cut off, the TR 23 becomes a nonconductive state, and a point alpha is opened from ground. In this state, when an engine exceeds a prescribed speed area and is operated at a high speed, the number of pulses generated in a signal generating coil 3c increases, and the potential of the point alpha being an output terminal of an FV circuit 16 rises. Subsequently, when the potential of the point alpha exceeds break voltage of a Zener diode 18, the SCR 9 is turned on, and the feeding circuit 4 is grounded, therefore, feed to an ignition unit 1 is cut off, and the engine is stopped. |
