PURPOSE:To prevent the breakage of sensor surfaces by connecting optical fiber bundles and sensor arrays which are arrayed one- or two-dimensionally by means of a fiber plate. CONSTITUTION:A fiber plate 4 is fixed on array sensors 2, then optical fiber bundles 1 are positioned in proximity or contact with the plate 4. If necessary, the peripheries of the optical fiber bundles are fixed with adhesive agents 3. In the stage of connecting, the bundles 1 do not contact with the surfaces of the sensors 2; therefore, the breakage of the sensor surfaces is prevented. |
