A device for parking vehicles comprises a pair of platforms (19, 20) arranged one above the other in a pit (10) depressed in relation to a plane of common entrance (11). Each platform is pivotally supported by transverse pins (18, 32) on slides (17) running on vertical rails (18) which extend upwardly from the bottom (14) of the pit (10) intermediate the length of the platforms (19, 20). The platforms are arranged to be commonly driven by hydraulic cylinders (21) for alternative alignment with the plane (11), the platforms being substantially horizontal in the lower end position and being upwardly inclined in the upper end position. The vertical rails (16) extend up to but no higher than the plane (11) and the slides (17) at least correspond in length to the length of the rails (16). The cylinders (21) have piston rods (23) the ends of which are connected to the bottom (14) of the pit (10) while the cylinders themselves are laterally connected to the lower platform (20). <IMAGE> |
