PURPOSE:To obtain the titled body having high sensitivity and less tendency for generating fatigue due to a repetitive use by incorporating a specific bisazo compd. to the photosensitive layer as an electrostatic charge generating substance. CONSTITUTION:The titled body comprises a conductive layer and the photosensitive layer. The photosensitive layer contains the electrostatic charge generating substance and the electrostatic charge transfer substance. The electrostatic charge generating substance is composed of the bisazo compd. shown by formula I wherein Cp of formula I is a group of formula II, R<1>-R<4> are each H, halogen, alkyl or alkoxy group, Ar of formula II is a (substd.) aryl group, X is O, S or NH group. Thus, the titled body having high sensitivity and spectral sensitivity suitable for electrophotographic process and excellent stability against a repetitive use is obtd. |
