The invention relates to a focusing hood for cameras which consists of a lid (2) which is mounted on the camera housing so that it can be swivelled up, and of side pieces and a rear piece (3) which are mounted on said lid, each side piece being subdivided into a front (4) and a rear (5) side-piece part, which are mounted swivellably on one another. The rear piece (3) is, furthermore, connected to the housing by means of a joint pivoted to the housing and rear piece. The invention is characterised in that the joint consists of a first part (8) which is mounted swivellably on the housing, and a second part (10) which is swivellably mounted both on the rear piece (3) in a vertical fashion below the centre thereof when the focusing hood is folded out, as well as on the first part (8) essentially at half the height of the rear piece. <IMAGE> |
