<p>PURPOSE:To enable to securely record even when a defective bit is generated and greatly enhance the yield of a head, by a method wherein the construction of a head is changed to a multi-line construction, and an electronic driving circuit is added. CONSTITUTION:A main recording side heating resistor row 8 and a compensating-side heating resistor row 9 are provided in proximity to each other. When a defective bit is generated in the main recording side heating resistor row 8, the compensating-side heating resistor row 9 is used for recording instead of the heating resistor row 8 involving the defective bit. In a normal condition wherein the main recording side heating resistor row 8 is free from any defective bit, the heating resistor row 8 is driven through the driving circuit 10 to conduct required recording.</p> |
