PURPOSE:To reduce the number of steps for comparison and to simplify and speed up the processing by comparing and exchanging data between coupled processors successively in parallel. CONSTITUTION:Processors P0, P1-P7 arranged in parallel are controlled by a central controller C in parallel. A switch group S connected to the processors P0, P1-P7 is controlled by the controller C and connects the processors P0, P1- P7 mutually through common memories M0, M1-M7. The processing data for a relational model found out by the operation of the processors P0, P1-P7 are stored in a data base storage device DM. After comparing and exchanging data mutually between these processors simultaneously in parallel, the controller C divides these processors successively into small groups to compare and exchange data. |
