PURPOSE:To improve visibility of a display for temperature of an engine at its warming operation, by spreading the display of temperature when temperature of the engine is lower than a prescribed value and resetting the display to an ordinary level when the temperature increases higher than the prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:If an ignition switch is closed, a closing signal of a detector 6 is generated to start operation of a microcomputer 8 and apply car speed, rotary speed and residual quantity of fuel respectively to display parts 11a- 11c, then apply display instruction signals from a CRT controller 10. While in a display routine of water temperature by the microcomputer 8, during the time cooling water temperature of an engine is lower than a preset level set by a keyboard 7, a bar graphic display 11d of water temperature is spread, if the water temperature rises higher than the preset level, the bar graphic display 11d of the water temperature is reset to an ordinary level while the present time 11e is displayed in lower position of the display 11d. Accordingly, visibility at warming operation is improved while transfer to a normal operational condition can be surely recognized. |
