PURPOSE:To simply obtain a cup-shaped diaphragm having a high height and excellent durability by a method in which a cylindrically woven reinforcing cloth is used as a base cloth, a preliminary forming process for the base cloth is omitted, and limits to the kinds and sizes of fibers are released. CONSTITUTION:An upper mold 1 and a lower mold 2 are heated, an object 5 in which a molding elemental rubber 4 is placed on at least one side of a cylindrically woven base cloth 3 is placed between the upper and lower molds 1 and 2, and they are subjected to heating and compression to form a complete product. The base cloth 3 is a seamless cylindrical one, and the joint is biasedly woven Thus, the utilizing range of the cup-shaped diaphragm can be widened. |
